Now use Indian rupee symbol on your desktop

Microsoft has now released the updates which support Indian rupee symbol. Indian rupee symbol which is a combination of Devanagri 'Ra' and Roman 'R' has been designed by Mr Uday Kumar M.tech Graduate from IIT Bombay. which was selected from the thousands of entries of an open competition, by the then finance minister of India.

Here is a look, how an Indian Rupee Symbol look like.
To update this release, your computer needs to run on any of the following OS, to apply changes and see the support of Indian rupee symbol on your computer.
1.Windows Vista Service Pack2(SP2)
2. Windows Server 2008 (SP2)
3. Windows 7 service pack 1, onwards
4. Windows Server 2008 R2
5. Windows Server 2008 SP1
